Hello, I'm Tiffany and I’m “neurospicy”

I am a 40-year-old mother of two and a wife. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in the suburbs. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 8 years old and was prescribed Ritalin to help with school. The side effects became too much by age 13. I faced social challenges in middle school but coped by studying psychology and fiction, which helped me understand interactions. At 19, I was diagnosed with anxiety. I struggled through my 20s, particularly when I moved to Indiana, and had difficulty making friends. Reading "How to Win Friends and Influence People" improved my social skills, yet socializing drained me despite short-term success. I became a mother at 29 and my first baby was easy. She could watch nature for hours if I let her and loved to keep to herself. In my 30s, I found my groove, joined mom groups, and was appreciated for my frankness about motherhood. My second child arrived when I was 33, a more demanding baby needing lots of attention. Balancing their needs became overwhelming as I craved alone time. Concerns arose about my eldest's struggles in preschool, leading to questions about autism. Recognizing similarities between us, I considered if I too might be autistic, beyond just ADHD. When my child was diagnosed at 8, I grew confident in my own autism. This realization and all the stress of motherhood led to burnout for me. I found a great therapist who understood neurodivergence. I discovered a lot about myself and my children. The world isn't easy for neurodivergent people. Normal advice doesn't always work. I can help you find what works for you.

My passion is helping Neurodivergent people because I am one. I’m currently a Neurodivergent Life Coach student at Natural Wellness Academy. I chose this school because they had the most informed, Neurodivergent Positive and up to date on research course. After I finish my certification there, I plan to get a general Life Coach certification through ICF as well. While I am still a student, my rates are as follows:

A standard 30 minute session is $45.

An extended 1 hour session is $80.

Advice that DOESN’T help

If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well (Any effort is worthwhile. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing badly.)

Practice makes perfect (No, practice makes progress. Perfection isn’t possible)

Everything happens for a reason (Bad things just happen. We don’t have to feel grateful for it)

Everything comes to those who wait (Nope. We have to find a way to make those things happen for us)

It’s not rocket science (To some people, rocket science is easy. What’s easy for one person, is hard for another)

“We do not need to cure neurodiversity. We need to embrace it.” –  Jonathan Mooney, author and activist.
